From February 22 to March 1, the second LocJAM video game localization competition took place, where Janus acted as a member of the jury. LocJAM is a video game translation competition that allows anyone, from amateurs to experienced translators, to participate in video game adaptation. It is non-commercial in nature, and aimed at raising awareness about the process structure of video game localization.
LocWorld28 international conference will take place from June 3 to 5 in Berlin. This year, Janus shall participate as an exhibitor. The LocWorld28 conference is the main global meeting place in the sphere of translation, created for international business representatives, translation companies and developers of specialized software for this industry.
On April 1, 2015, an audit of the Janus QMS for compliance with ISO 9001:2008 took place. The audit was completed by German company TÜV SÜD.

Currently, project activity accounts for approximately 40% of the total activity of a modern hi-tech company, and with the development of scientific and technological progress and increasing competition, the project component is steadily increasing. In this regard, any employee of the company, from the top management to ordinary worker, is involved in the resolution of various project tasks and is a member of a single project team.
In December 2014, Janus officially joined the European Language Industry Association. ELIA unites companies operating in Europe involved in localization, interpreting and translation. The Association provides its members with a variety of tools and opportunities for business development through participation in training sessions and networking events, the allocation of resources for business development and joint marketing activities.
By tradition, Janus held an event for its customers, familiarizing them with the spectrum of services offered. The business breakfast was intended to tell customers about the features of work on projects in the IT translation and localization. The speakers presented an overview of the main activities of the company and showed the features of the process of working on translation in the IT sector.
Konstantin Josseliani, CEO of Janus Worldwide, together with Andrey Moiseev, director of the department of Language Services of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, will address the Localization World conference, which will take place in Dublin from 4 to 6 June. The presentation will be dedicated to innovations in technology and organization of language services provision based on the example of the XXII Olympic Winter Games that took place at the start of the year.
Almaty hosted the 21st Kazakhstan International Healthcare Exhibition, KIHE. More than 200 companies from 20 countries presented exhibition, including national pavilions from Germany and China, as well as groups of companies from Russia and South Korea.
On the day before May Day, Janus multimedia specialists implemented an extremely urgent and complex project for an Android OS mobile device application. Only one day was allocated to perform the work. The objective was to make a voice recording to test a voice recognition application.
