Janus Worldwide Specialists Provide Linguistic Support to 68th FIFA Congress in Moscow

Janus Worldwide specialists provided linguistic support to the 68th Congress of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) that took place in Moscow at the Expocenter Central Exhibition Complex on June 13th, the day before the first game of the World Football Championship.

The FIFA Congress is the highest legislative body of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. Any meeting of the Congress is an important event in the world of sports that attracts the attention of the entire planet. At its 68th meeting, the Congress discussed the possibility of increasing the number of participants in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar from 32 to 48 teams, as well as determined the site for the 2026 World Cup.

Sixty people were engaged in this project on behalf of Janus Worldwide, to include managers, translators, engineers, and technical specialists. The company also provided all the necessary simultaneous interpreting equipment for the event. The project required a tremendous amount of preparation, as a massive amount of equipment was delivered to the Expocenter starting on June 8.
