Janus Worldwide is now the owner of an Across certificate

From March 7 to 11, 2016, a training session attended by Janus Worldwide employees Alina Vasilyeva and Evgeniya Shirobokova took place at the Across office in Germany. As a result of the educational event, Janus Worldwide became the owner of an Across Certified v6.3 certificate.

The event lasted five days. Each day was devoted to a particular aspect of work with Across in a separate dedicated module: days 1&2 – Project Management, day 3 – Terminology Work, day 4 – Translation with Across, day 5 – System Management. During the training, conducted by Lissa Sum and Frank Erven, participants had the opportunity to not only learn the intricacies of the Across program in detail, and get answers to all their questions and exchange opinions, but also to consolidate the knowledge and skills obtained through practical exercises.

After participating in this educational event, Janus Worldwide staff have significantly improved their competence and skills in working with Across. “Not much time at all has passed since passing Across certification, but we began to feel more confident when receiving questions from translators, because the training helped us better understand the operating principles of the program. During the certification process, Evgeniya and I got ideas how to optimize working in Across, and we hope to implement them soon. We also plan to present internal webinars for colleagues and share the knowledge gained with them,” commented Alina Vasilyeva, head of the German Projects Department.

Now, after passing Across certification, Janus Worldwide specialists will provide translation services at a new, even higher level of quality, while ensuring maximum protection of confidential customer information.
