Janus Worldwide has successfully passed routine audits

At the beginning of April 2016, Janus Worldwide translation company successfully passed several audits, proving that its quality management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, and translation services provided to customers meets ISO 17100:2015-05. The company also passed certification according to ISO 13611:2014-12, applicable to community interpreting services, for the first time.

Audits for compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17100:2015‑05 were conducted by specialists, accredited by international companies TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH and Austrian Standards plus GmbH, respectively.

Representatives of the certification bodies talked to staff of Janus Worldwide, asked them questions about how their daily workflow is implemented in practice, what tools are used to optimize work and effective solution of their tasks, what results they have achieved in recent years, and about any developments that they wanted to mention.

As part of the audits, mechanisms were tested for tracking customer satisfaction, human resources, QMS documentation and its relevance, compliance with established procedures and the existence of actual confirmation of this, the basic aspects of production, etc.

Results of the audits once again showed that Janus Worldwide’s business processes meet the highest current requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17100:2015-05. Inconsistencies were not identified in the course of the audit.

Janus Worldwide underwent certification according to ISO 13611:2014-12, relating to community interpreting services, for the first time. This certificate, issued by Austrian Standards plus GmbH, certifies that Janus meets all the necessary criteria and requirements and fulfills all recommendations indicated in this standard (Guidelines for Community Interpreting).

The certificates on compliance with ISO 17100:2015-05 and ISO 13611:2014-12 apply to the production offices in Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan, as well as sales offices in the USA, Austria, Germany and the UK.

Of course, perfection has no limits, and Janus Worldwide is continuing to work hard to improve the quality of services provided. Undergoing annual successful audits, as well as obtaining a new certificate on compliance with another international standard confirms this once again.
