Director of Janus’ Worldwide Marketing Strategy to Conduct Series of Workshops for Company Management
Janus Worldwide is implementing a long-term, dedicated policy to train highly-qualified staff — because people are the company’s key asset. In December and January, Peter Smith, Strategic Development Director at Janus Worldwide, is organizing a number of training seminars for account managers and company executives. The seminars consist of three workshops which cover the topics most relevant to the target audience.
The first workshop took place on December 7. It covered topics such as the competitive environment, key market factors and trends, customers and competitive environment dynamics, risks and risk assessment, customer needs, variables (what and how customers buy and how they prioritize), customer outsourcing models, and much more.
During the second workshop in the series, which will take place in the latter half of December, Peter will discuss targeting, identifying, developing, and increasing opportunities, as well as planning to work with customers, quarterly reviews of business activities, metrics, technologies (including GTP, Express, and machine translation), and various other useful tools for account managers.
The third and last workshop in the training series will take place in January 2018. It will cover issues related to business, marketing, public relations, working with sponsors, etc., and will also include a review of various business cases. Participants will put the theoretical knowledge they have gained into practice by taking part in a business game that will serve as a logical conclusion to the course.
Peter Smith has a great deal of experience in the translation industry. He started his career as a project manager before serving in the role of general director at several translation companies. The training course Peter has prepared will definitely make a valuable contribution to the professional development of the company’s employees — for, as we all know, perfection knows no limits.
