Janus Worldwide continues to grow, with the company having recently decided to expand its presence in Germany. In addition to its representative office in Diez, which opened in 2016, in April the company opened a production office in Cologne, the 14th international office of Janus Worldwide.
On March 21–22, Janus Worldwide successfully completed an ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems – Requirements) witness audit and extended the term of validity of its current certification.
Janus Worldwide was recently included in the Top 50 Slator 2019 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI). Companies were rated based on revenues and market activities in 2017–2018. Janus Worldwide came 31st, posting 18.4% growth and revenue of $23.6 million in 2018 and $19.9 million in 2017.
On February 21–22, Janus Worldwide participated in the fascinating international translation and localization industry event Together 2019, which brought together members, friends, and partners of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA).
An extended meeting of the company’s management team at the end of January brought together division managers and the heads of regional offices.
From January 21 to 27, the city of Kazan in the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a Competition Preparation Week for the 45th WorldSkills world professional skills championship, the leading international event for vocational education and professional development.
Through digital technologies, we aim to communicate with potential clients, reach out with relevant messaging, and convert these “leads” into customers that we can retain. It sounds straightforward enough but in today’s environment, effectively connecting with your customers also depends on being able to build and promote a brand and engage with these customers via a multitude of media and in a multitude of locales.
Independent research agency Common Sense Advisory has published its annual report, The Language Services Market: 2018, on the translation industry, ranking Janus Worldwide as one of the largest translation companies in Western Europe and the world.
Janus Worldwide participated in the 37th Localization World Conference held on June 6–8, 2018, in Warsaw, with a new booth and a presentation on a current topic in the LSP section as part of the conference’s main program.
