BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (CHINA)

As we continue to expand our operations in China, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

As the Business Development Manager for China, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base in the region. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to identify and engage potential clients. Your primary goal will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, positioning our company as the preferred localization partner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in China.
  • Identify and target potential clients in key industries such as IT, Life Sciences, and manufacturing.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, competitor analysis, and potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Coordinate with project management and production teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the management team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in business development, sales, or account management roles in the localization industry.
  • Strong understanding of the localization industry, including translation, interpretation, localization, and global marketing services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and deliver results.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
  • Willingness to travel within China as needed.
