Strategy 2026: Staying True to Who We Are
2025 was the first year when the language services industry truly felt the cold breath of AI. This impact was further intensified by today’s geopolitical reality, especially the slowdown in global trade caused by tariffs and sanctions.
The real question now is not whether the industry will change in 2026. It is how this change will happen and at what pace. In situations like this, I often think of a Chinese proverb that says that when things are unclear, it is better not to rush. That describes the current state of our market very well.
I see many companies trying to reinvent themselves almost overnight. Some turn from LSPs into AI integrators or product companies, while others move into completely new domains without the necessary depth of expertise. Can such rapid shifts lead to sustainable success? I am skeptical.
In my view, the more resilient approach is to stay grounded in what you already do well. Focus on the domain where you have real expertise, proven processes, and client trust, while carefully integrating new technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. Technology should strengthen the core business, not distract from it.
This direction will guide our work in 2026. We will continue to focus on what our clients value most and what we do best. Expert linguistic services, supported by modern technology, not replaced by it.
In a challenging period for the industry, leadership is not about dramatic pivots or chasing headlines. It is about steady and structured transformation, supporting people and partners, and building long-term value together with clients.
