GTP Steps into the World of Translation and Localization
Janus Worldwide is exited to announce the continued expansion of its in-house developed Global Technology Platform (GTP). The platform has been constantly evolving and improving since its introduction. The new version of GTP will allow clients to place orders not only with Janus Worldwide, but also with other language service providers.
Igor Mogilevsky, Vice President, IT and CFO, Janus Worldwide: “Despite the pandemic in 2021 and the previous year, as well as the unstable rules and schedules, we have managed to maintain the planned pace of development of the Global Technology Platform as one of the company’s key IT services.
In order to meet the procurement policy requirements of a large number of our clients, at the beginning of the year, we initiated a project that allows orders to be placed through GTP not only with Janus, but also with other suppliers. We completed it on time.
Proud of and satisfied with the results achieved, we are ready to introduce a new release of GTP with significantly expanded functionality as a service or as a separate product.”
Natalia Rudinskaya, a Janus Worldwide key account director, speaks in detail of the innovations of the new version of the platform: “GTP has changed a lot this year, becoming more functional and user-friendly. We have finalized internal instructions, created online training, and held webinars for clients and personal meetings demonstrating the platform. Clients use the platform not only to place orders, but also to track the status of projects in real time, download and store files on the platform, and correspond with project managers directly. GTP helps them manage budgets, providing the option to download reports in form of tables and visual diagrams with all information about the cost of language services. Many users will likely be pleased with the list of completed orders, which contains all the available information on a single page, without the need to search for data scattered throughout e-mails.
In addition, the new release allows clients to place orders with different suppliers. We have been coming to this for a long time and have received many client requests. The new version of the platform is finally available with completely new opportunities for both users and developers. We hope that in the new year even more clients will join GTP, and it will be convenient for them to place orders with different suppliers on Janus’ company platform.”
