Janus Worldwide reaches another milestone in the company’s history
It is hard to believe that four years have passed since Janus Worldwide opened a production office in Brno, Czech Republic. Our ongoing efforts to provide unparalleled 24/7 client service and implement the “Follow the Sun” customer–supplier interaction model led us to expand our operations to multiple locations, and the Brno office plays a strategic role here, as a center for the consolidation of language expertise and business development at Janus Worldwide.
“This was an exciting step forward!” says Oleksiy Ponomarov, Head of the Brno Office, “There are many opportunities to be found in Central and Western Europe and our task is to maintain established efficiency and productivity standards in order to produce deliverables of sustained quality. Our local team is growing,” he adds. “We have close to 30 people in Brno and are consistently recruiting for top linguistic talent in response to increasing customer demand.”
Since it opened, the Brno office has provided services to dozens of commercial customers as well as support services to hundreds of projects worldwide. These include clients such as American Golf, Sherwin-Williams, SI Group, Petrofac Group, Fujitsu of Europe, Toshiba, Juice Plus and Hilton Worldwide. Services include technical translation, marketing and creative content, website localization, DTP, eLearning and multimedia projects.
Janus Worldwide CEO Konstantin Josseliani remarked: “We are constantly seeking out ways to improve how we do things in order to satisfy our clients’ needs and take the company to a new level. I really value the contribution of our Brno team to the progress we can see. Here at Janus, we know that our achievements are the result of the combined efforts of each individual – all talented, dedicated professionals!”
CSA research in 2018 estimated the potential value of the language service industry in Europe at over 49% of global potential, amounting to more than USD 20 billion. Currently ranking eighth in the list of the top 40 West European LSPs, Janus Worldwide continues to adhere to a sustainable business development strategy focused on innovation, versatility, ongoing improvement and customer satisfaction, steadily earning the loyalty and trust of new and existing customers.
