Janus Worldwide listed in industry ratings by Nimdzi and Slator
Janus Worldwide has been successfully included in industry ratings compiled by research companies Nimdzi and Slator and published in the first quarter of this year.
Janus Worldwide is ranked 78th in The 2023 Nimdzi 100, a ranking of the world’s largest language service providers. The companies are ranked by their revenue. In 2022, Janus Worldwide reported a figure of $29.2 million, which exceeds the company’s results for 2021 and points to its financial stability and high competitiveness.
The creators of the ranking highlight the following key trends in the translation and localization industry: increased interest in the use of artificial intelligence, widespread multilingual meetings that require comprehensive support in addition to interpretation, the implementation of machine translation quality estimation (MTQE), and more. All this confirms that the linguistic industry is very high tech. They also note that the industry showed growth in 2022, which will continue in future. The size of the market in 2022 was $64.7 billion and is projected to reach $69.3 billion in 2023. By 2027, it may amount to $90.8 billion. The positioning of language service providers is changing, as they are tending to go beyond being just linguistic companies and are starting to provide a wider range of services with a deep focus on clients’ processes.
Companies in The Slator 2023 Language Service Provider Index (The Slator 2023 LSPI) are also ranked by revenue for 2022 and divided into four categories according to this indicator: Super Agencies with $200+ million, Leaders with $25–200 million, Challengers with $8–25 million, and Boutiques with revenue ranging from $1 to $8 million. Janus Worldwide is ranked 53th in The Slator 2023 LSPI and has confidently entered the Leaders category.
The rating’s creators note that the total revenue generated in 2022 by the companies listed in The Slator 2023 LSPI increased by about 10%, reaching $10.4 billion. However, much of this growth was driven by mergers and acquisitions in the industry, while organic growth is in the low single digits.
Janus Worldwide has been active in the industry for more than 27 years and offers corporate clients a wide range of services, including not only translation and localization, but also content creation, design, desktop publishing, digital marketing, and more. The company is developing dynamically and successfully overcoming the crisis period, and not for the first time in its history. In 2022, Janus Worldwide opened new offices in Albania and Bulgaria, won new customers, and improved its technological developments.
