Janus Worldwide is among the top 50 providers in The Slator 2021 Language Service Provider Index
Janus Worldwide translation company is among the top 50 providers in The Slator 2021 Language Service Provider Index, which was published by the Slator research agency on March 1. The largest global companies specializing in translation, localization and linguistic technology fields are in this index. As before, companies were ranked by income volume in US dollars in 2020, and sorted into four separate categories in accordance with this metric: Super Agencies (income over 200 million dollars), Leaders (income from 25 to 200 million dollars), Challengers (income from 8 to 25 million dollars) and Boutiques (income from 1 to 8 million dollars).
Janus Worldwide ranked 46th in the index and assigned to the Leader category with 25.5 million dollars of income. The income growth compared to the previous year (2019) is 0.4%. With the challenges of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and year-round related restrictions, as well as the global economic uncertainty taken into account, it’s worth noting that the results achieved are rather satisfying and encourage an optimistic attitude for the near future.
The gross income volume of companies listed in the index (there are over 180 of them) has increased by 11.6% and equals 7.8 billion dollars. However, the index authors pointed out that these great results were largely achieved due to company consolidation as a result of mergers and acquisitions. According to their estimates, organic growth remained unchanged and was in the low single digits. Growth was 15.5% in the Super Agencies category, 9.9% in the Leaders category, 8.2% in the Challengers category and 9.8% in the Boutiques category.
Janus Worldwide is delighted to be a part of the index by the Slator research agency. The company has successfully made it through 2020 and become even more close-knit. Its inherent leadership qualities are reflected both in the results achieved and new ambitious goals set for 2021.
