Janus Worldwide in Cologne

With the business growing and our staff expanding, in April 2019 Janus Worldwide decided to open a new office in Cologne, West Germany. One of Germany’s most attractive cities, Cologne is home to a large number of companies and business here is booming.

This new representative office is helping Janus Worldwide to consolidate its position in the DACH region (which includes Austria and Switzerland as well as Germany), optimize multilingual production, and provide comprehensive support to local clients. The office is an ideal space for hosting business meetings, allowing Janus to establish relationships with new clients and deepen its ties with existing partners.

Our staff in Germany includes several project managers, translators and business development managers, who work with major companies and are responsible for keeping all of our stakeholders happy, protecting the security of confidential content and completing projects on time.

Our clients are located throughout Germany. As well as the west of the country, they can also be found, for example, in Magdeburg in the east, in Hamburg in the north, and in Bavaria in the south. The German office partners successfully with leading German companies in fields such as technology, engineering, IT and innovative manufacturing.

Since the office was set up, its client list has expanded. We have become well known among the German business community and have featured regularly in articles published by online portals and renowned international associations like the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA). We have taken part in online events like Hannover Messe and didacta digital, which afforded us with fantastic opportunities to engage digitally with high-profile companies from the manufacturing and technology, education and e-learning sectors.

Despite the unprecedented circumstances resulting from the 2020 pandemic, Janus Worldwide’s German office continued to deliver excellence, not least thanks to effective remote working arrangements. With the German business world now firmly on the path to recovery, we are already experiencing higher demand for our services.
