We are currently looking for in-house EN-KK language service providers (full-time).

DESCRIPTION:

Translate and/or proofread documents in the following areas:

• Medicine (medical equipment, medical technology, health care, pharmacology, clinical diagnostics, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology etc)
• IT (general)
• Marketing (brochures, campaigns, etc.)

Use translation memories and glossaries.

Juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Keep project managers informed of project progress and meet client and internal deadlines.

Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills and cultural knowledge of target and source language (Kazakh).

Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar.

Ability to learn new skills quickly and being comfortable working with various technologies and interfaces.

Ability to support multiple projects and manage shifting priorities

Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Native speaker of a target language
• A linguistic degree or any degree and relevant experience in translating
• An expert in the specific fields (or one of them):
  Medicine (medical equipment, medical technology, LS, health care, pharmacology, clinical diagnostics, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology etc)

  Automotive/Technical (service and repair instructions, operation instruction, quick guides, service booklets, service check lists)

  IT (general)

  Marketing (brochures, campaigns, etc.)

• An expert in the specific product categories (or one of them):
  Medicine:

  -Medical and surgical systems (Endoscopes, imaging systems, energy systems, insufflation, suction & irrigation systems)

  -EndoTherapy (Biliary & pancreatic procedures, hemostasis, biopsy forceps, respiratory endoscopy)

  -Radiation therapy, respiratory therapy, radiosurgery, brachytherapy, proton therapy, anesthesiology, urology, ultrasound

  -Reprocessing (Washer disinfection & process chemistry, storage, transport, other reprocessing devices)

  -Core Lab (automation, clinical chemistry, hematology, immunoassay)

  -Molecular diagnostics (instrumentation/automation, assays, kits – infectious diseases, oncology)

  -Medical laboratory (diabetes care and monitoring, blood glucose monitoring systems, lancing devices, test strips, analyzers, diagnostics reagents.
