Challenges: Volumes/Accuracy/Deadline

• Number of words to be translated: about 1.5 million, project deadline: 3 months.
• Strict data safety requirements: all project vendors signed additional NDAs, files were submitted only through our communication channels (FTP and seafiles), and no external file hosting services were used.
• Structural changes: file grouping, some by date, some by content, so that a batch of files is more convenient to use by client partners (English-speaking lawyers).
• Lower formatting requirements: it was unnecessary to copy formatting exactly, and readability was important. However, there were increased requirements for accuracy of numbers in files, as documents were intended to be used in legal proceedings.

Solution

We developed an individual solution for the client with lower layout requirements and a double check by a quality control expert. Both the client and its partners (a law firm), with which we mainly communicated regarding deadlines and various translation requirements, were satisfied with our work.
