Some may choose to use MT as a productivity enhancement tool and pre-translate content to be post-edited by human linguists, while others will deploy the technology as-is and use it for ‘gisting’ purposes, where human translation quality is not needed. In either case, post-deployment maintenance is required to ensure the system is optimized for the best output.
